Delete your Aemote account

How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

1. Open Aemote and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm the action when prompted.
4. Your account and all data are permanently deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — By email (if you can't open the app)

1. Use the request form at the bottom of this page, or email [email protected] from your account email with the subject "Delete my account".
2. We verify ownership and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted permanently

• Account and login credentials
• All maps — defences, inhibitory emotions, core emotions, authentic state, groups
• All Emotion Logs — intensity, valence, body sensations, context, notes, date
• Therapist connection records and shared data
• Push notification token and reminder settings
• Milestones, onboarding state, and saved resources
• Account-linked feedback submissions

Retained for a limited time

• Anonymized crash and diagnostic logs (Sentry) — not linked to your identity, automatically purged within about 90 days.
• Aggregated, non-identifying statistics — cannot be tied back to you and are kept to operate the service.
